Jillian Whalen is a creative and data-driven marketer whose vast experience working both in-house at top media companies and at top agencies have provided her with the tools needed to help Joan Herlong & Associates Sotheby’s International Realty grow their marketing program. Having worked with more than 125 brands within her career, and personally managing more than 65 brands on social media, Jillian's passion lies in helping the firm and its Associates reach new heights using a blend of traditional and digital marketing best practices.

Having worked with Fortune 100s to start-ups, Jillian is known for her data-driven approach, dreaming up new marketing products, and her emphasis on content marketing to create and then implement marketing strategies that boost awareness, promote engagement, build brand loyalty and also convert target audiences. Thoughtful and strategic in every client decision she makes, Jillian thrives when assisting clients achieve positive outcomes that move the needle.

Born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, Jillian has a passion for real estate, and has worked for various Sotheby’s International Realty Associates, real estate brokerages and other top luxury Realtors across the United States with her business, Sobeck Studio, LLC. Jillian is a proud graduate of Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and earned her BA in Communication Studies, a minor in Media Studies, and an emphasis in Public Relations from Clemson University.

When she is not working, Jillian can be found outside exploring new walking trails with her husband, young son and dog, cooking and entertaining at home, cheering on her beloved Clemson Tigers during the fall football season, or traveling to the beach or mountains.
