Spartanburg County

Spartanburg County, South Carolina, is the fifth-most populous county in the state of South Carolina; slightly smaller than its next-door neighbor, Greenville County, and often defined by its relationship to and with Greenville. Traditionally a much more industrial-focused economy than the City of Greenville’s, Spartanburg is anchored by several large-scale manufacturing operations, notably the Miliken company. The County features gentle rolling hills throughout, getting more dramatic as the North Carolina border approaches. The northern part of Spartanburg County is dotted with several popular small-scale lakes, and has several communities that are e questian-focused.
