The City of Simpsonville, South Carolina, was once a sleepy small town based around farming and a railroad depot, with relatively little to do with its neighbor Greenville. Due to the explosive growth of both Greenville County, as well as the City of Simpsonville and the immediate surrounding area known as “Five Forks,” very little about Simpsonville currently resembles a small or sleepy town. One of the fastest growing communities in the fast-growing Greenville County, Simpsonville has several notable developments, and palatial custom homes and estates in its rolling hills.
