Brittney started as an Associate with Joan Herlong & Associates Sotheby’s International Realty in early 2021.
A Greenville native and a Clemson Tiger lifer, Brittney is full of pride for the Upstate of South Carolina, for the Clemson Tigers and Clemson University, and for the Greater Greenville community. Brittney’s other alma maters include Mitchell Road Christian Academy and Eastside High School, where she won a state cheerleading title. Since then, Brittney has spent several years as the Head Coach of Eastside High School’s Varsity Cheerleading Squad.
Brittney’s entire extended family are all Clemson Tigers: her grandfather Doug Kingsmore (the baseball stadium’s namesake) is a Clemson University Trustee Emeritus.
At Clemson, Brittney met her husband, Matt, while they played in a band together. Singing is like oxygen to her, and her voice is like a breath of fresh air. Brittney also loves karaoke – she’s easily convinced that it’s her turn to sing. She and Matt have been making all kinds of music together ever since they met. They’re raising their three children, and Brittney also delivered twins as a surrogate pregnancy in 2016, the culmination of a lifelong, selfless desire.
Speaking of family, Brittney’s mother, father, aunt, and mother-in-law are all successful Realtors in the Upstate, and client service is in her DNA. Licensed since 2012, Brittney describes herself as a naturally-curious “lover of relationships.” Meeting new people, learning about them, and learning from them is one of the most rewarding aspects of her work. In addition to helping sophisticated clientele list and purchase homes in the Upstate, Brittney is an expert in the Enneagram… she’s likely to ask you what your Enneagram type is, if it comes up in conversation.
Brittney is also an enthusiastic cook. Southern cuisine is her natural born favorite. Her fare is in constant demand, in her own kitchen, and among friends and family.
