Chris’s Greenville roots run deep. He is a fifth generation Greenvillian who grew up along with Greenville’s dynamic Downtown and vibrant arts community. When Chris was just five-years-old, the Peace Center for the Performing Arts (including the Gunter Theater) first opened, and it changed the physical, cultural, and business landscape of the Upstate.
Chris and his wife, Elizabeth, together follow a long family tradition of supporting the arts and education in Greenville. Elizabeth is the former Director of Education at both The Children’s Museum of the Upstate and the Upstate History Museum. Chris and Elizabeth and their young family are frequent patrons of area museums and theatres.
The Augusta Road area was Chris’s original home, where he attended Augusta Circle Elementary School, Christ Church Episcopal School, and Greenville High. After attending the University of South Carolina, Chris bought his first home in the Augusta Road area, and Joan Herlong was his Realtor.
A few years later, Chris craved more space. Now, he and Elizabeth are raising their young family in Travelers Rest – aptly named because Chris is an avid traveler of the local scene; he seems to know all the best hiking trails, waterfalls, swimming holes, and parks. He also loves discovering new places to share with clients and friends.
He has a passion for motorsports (Forza Ducati!), scuba diving, cooking, and treating clients like old friends he hasn’t met yet; clients’ interests always come first.
Chris focuses on candid and prompt communication. He became fluent in quality client service through years of work in the restaurant industry. He prides himself on creative problem solving, hard work, and doing the right thing. Whether buying or selling, Chris is there to help every step of the way. He has a depth of understanding of the local market trends, and he is ready to help your next transaction be your best ever! Call Chris, he always calls you right back!
